:( the summer went by way too fast! But, I do love the fall too. We start to change color in my area around early-mid October, although I should see some early foliage in Boulder, CO when I visit late September.

Anyday that's not in June, July or August is OK with me! I can already feel less humidity in the air

I agree, Joseph! Those are my least favorite months...Summer! LOL! Some people think I am absolutely NUTS for not liking summer. But, I hate the heat, bugs, etc., etc.

I hope you get to see lots of color when you go to Colorado, Toby! :)

Bring on Autumn! I LOVE it! Already planning to go back to Central Park this year in Manhattan, and also taking a drive up North for some fall foliage!

Personally I'd take 100 degrees and 95% humidity over blowing snow and negative wind chill :). At least you can dip into the beach or a lake/pond on those hot summer days. Negative wind chill you're pretty much stuck inside - if you go outside it feels like your face is going to freeze up and shatter :).

Fall is my favorite season overall though. Here in New England the best weather is usually September and October (IMO), then it goes sharply downhill from there.

I have a love/hate relationship with autumn. I love the colors and the cooler weather, I hate that it's so short and that winter follows it, I just plain hate winter. If I lived in a humid area I'd hate summer as well, but we're pretty dry here in Utah, even in the north. 95-100dg can be hard to live with but with the low humidity it's bearable for the most part. 32dg and less is never bearable!

I've been to Utah, David, when it's so hot. I agree...that would be hard to live with. At least here, the evenings have been cool even if the days are hot. I think we've only reached 100 one day this summer...got close a few other times, though.
