Zoobar, Am I Getting A Tiki Bar Feel?

Its awesome as usual... but as for tiki bar, I think grass roof, tiki torches, tropical drinks in hurricane glasses, and sand floor... this isn't giving me a tiki bar feel...

Hmm a little too late for a sand floor but maybe adding a hurricane glass somewhere, maybe more masks on the wall? or grass trimming along the ceiling edge? Thanks Heather I should have come in here earlier before I painted so much of it for input.

you would have to consult with the tiki birds at disney land. its the only thing i think of when i hear that word.

i think the post in the center is a bit distracting.

tiki wise, masks would work, grass skirts maybe especially on that elephant in the back. the one in the front could use more of a brownish grass (like gilligans island)

Actually, google for images of Trader Vic's . Needs a lot more rattan. The floor looks more Deco too.

that is a long video. But it does have a lot of stuff packed into it, some I have used already , but I get the idea more. This will probably look like a bar trying to be a little tiki instead of full fledged tiki Thanks Mike for putting the video up and David I will look that up thanks.

Thanks Sharon, I was just wanting a tiki feel ,maybe a few more items. The floor came from a tiki bar I looked up but I guess they didn't do it right either lol ,by the way I signed up for image rights ,I can't afford their yearly fee if I register my art with them little by little for their fee per piece to get the copyright cert. will they then be on the look out for those individual pieces being stolen?

Bamboo lined wall would take forever I only have a few more days to work in this piece since I have 2 challenge paintings due in 2 weeks. so I am looking for easy fixes. The lights will have fishing net around them which will help.

You need a drink in a pineapple with an umbrella and a straw sticking out of the top. You could also put a hibiscus blossom behind the giraffe's ear and/or a lei on one of the characters, maybe the penguin. I think he looks a little plain.

I like the idea of the flower behind the giraffes ear. The penguin is going to have a grass skirt ,I also thought he needed something. Thanks MM
