T-shirt Help

I enlisted the help of a friend and we are trying to come up with some t shirt ideas. The plan is to eventually open our own separate site here, but I posted the first work as a test on my site.

It's not the best situation because I'm without a computer. So I basically just uploaded what he emailed me and now k see the png is not transparent on the shirt. Am I doing something wrong or is he?

He did not make the png have a transparent background.

I'll ask again. He said he did. I was wondering if there was something that happened in the transfer to me or between me and the web site, I'm still new to pngs. Really hate that I am computer less right now

If you're computerless, how are you uploading?

Tell him to open it in photoshop and drag the original layer to the new layer icon (duplicating the layer). Turn off the bottom layer. On the top layer use the magic wand selection tool to grab all the contiguous white background (might have to adjust tolerance to a low number to isolate only the outside white). Then hit delete and save the file as a png with the bottom layer still turned off.
