I like the first 2 the best ... It is a very cool image. I don't think the names are needed at all :)

If I were to eliminate one, I'd eliminate the one on the right too.
Thinking no names will have a wider audience appeal.

I was narrowing it down to the two on the left as well and I think once I stopped obsessing and actually posted the question and sat back and looked at the three side by side, I'm leaning more towards the no words one too.
I decided to use the plain one in a Fenway Park collage earlier and am happy with the way it looks tied in with the other photos.
Nancy you make a good point regarding the wider appeal.

If you ask me I will choose No 2 middle one in particular. like composition and vividness. do not need to mention names i think. just two cents.
why not for sale?

There are 4 names and 3 silhouettes. Not sure I get why....so perhaps leave out the names.

There are four. You can see the last guy all the way to the right. Look towards the baseball hat and you'll see double :)
