Scanner Recomendation Needed

Could anyone recommend a good scanner? The one I have doesn't work well with higher resolutions.

I use the Epson V500 and have been pretty happy with it.

v600. but it depends what your scanning and how large. the lid doesn't come off on the v600. increase the DPI to make larger scans.

BTW, the lid does come off on the V500. I've never needed to remove it but if I do it does have that capability. So if you are scanning anything larger than about 18" on the shorter side you need the lid to be removable.

I have had an Epson Expression XL10000 for about 6 or 7 years now and LOVE it. They are not cheap, I paid around $2500 for it then, not sure what you could buy them for now or buy a used one for, but I highly recommend it.

I have to scan original artwork for production by the manufacturers that license my work and it has met their quality standards along with ease of use for me.

It has an oversized bed in the range of 13" x 18" plus or minus.

I'd love to have a large format scanner! Stitching software is a whole cheaper though, even factoring the extra time spent. The software I use is pretty dumb and I have to do some workarounds sometimes to make it work but it was free.
