Flower Painters

The flower PAINTERS in the group I am so proud to administrate: "The Magic of Flowers', are the finest available on Fine Art America. I would love to see each one of them promote the botanic arts with starting flower painting contests. The reason is that it feels good to do good for the community, to promote one's work and show off that of others, and get a chance at winning a prize, to feel part of others' lives. I just won such a prize: first place for my watercolor 'Rose Margaret'. Even if there isn't money involved in our FAA contests, a spot in the limelight once in a while and artist recognition keeps the fire burning.

Greta, I am so glad that you won in this contest. Your work is top-notch and you deserve much recognition. And just to let others know, Greta has gone above and beyond to help promote my work personally. She deserves a spot in the limelight! Kudos dear Greta!

Hiya Greta,

I love your paintings of flowers. You deserved that win. For years I thought paintings of flowers was soooo easy until I painted my first. That's when I discovered my respect for floral artists.
