Twitter?

I've found that it works this way for me:

If I post at the time I upload my image, it includes the photo but I have no control over the text. I don't like to post about a new piece of art 100% of the time.

If I post via twitter from my FAA image page or my Artist Site page, there's no photo attached but I can control the text.

It's aggravating.

I just take a small screenshot and manually post to twitter. It's more work but I'm not constantly bombarding everyone with a "new artwork for sale" tweet.

I have seen that too...I am not very good with Twitter but I do recall someone saying that it is better to post a link rather than an actual image...that way people go to your site vs. just looking at the image and moving on....so maybe that isn't a bad thing.

Thanks that makes sense! So maybe it is uploaded through FAA like that on purpose for that reason!

Val, I tried both for a while...just link and image with link. I barely had a like let alone a tweet with just the link. When I post images, depending on how much people like it, I get quite a few RT's. Maybe I just have lazy tweeters lol

Me too, Val!! I have to force myself just to tweet twice a day. It seems pointless as I can't get followers and am having a difficult time finding my target audience on there.

I'm going to try focusing more on Pinterest.

Sharon I followed you on Twitter hopefully I can help some. I agree though Twitter seems so solitary.

I use buffer to post images to twitter, never fails plus it allows you to post images of all products offered on FAA, pillows, duvets etc, whatever you choose to share. Without the image I agree not many will follow the link, I and many others do not have the time to chase after links only.
