I find I can target market better on Twitter. I credit it with some sales but it is hard to sustain. You have to always find new people to follow.
As for bots, you can't really tell whats a bot anymore.The internet changed because of SM and wireless devices.

the answer is yes. or maybe, or it depends. you want to be on all the sites because you never know who will be looking. however you can't just be on it, you have to have followers and friends to see it. and on twitter you need hashtags so people can find you.
