Cow Parade Gone Famous

I was in Chicago years ago during a cow parade. It was pretty interesting and fun to walk around and spot them all.

It is fun. Another town in this area now does smaller brown bears. I think it goes further afield than that.

I believe it began in West Hartford CT. Next town over from Bloomfield.

The Cow Parade stampeded into San Antonio in November 2003. We downloaded the city listing, and visited every cow we could find. I've seen plenty of cows in Texas, but these were definitely the ones worth going out and looking for. :-)

Last year, I bought the San Antonio Cow Parade commemorative book on Amazon. I believe there's one available for every city that's hosted the cows.

It would be great to see a horse parade, at some point! :-)

Well the Suisse had the first Cow Parade 1998.

West Hartford was early in the US 2003.

They were all over the place in Washington, DC, don't remember which year(s), it was definitely pre-2004.

Seen it every where. Elllsworth Maine - salmon. Hanover, NH Pig and wolf -- I did a calendar of the statues on RB.

Shuttles were here once. Now it's rain barrels. Such a neat idea.
