Suggestion For Aw Galleries Tab Content

I can't picture it? Isn't that they way it is in our FAA galleries?

Actually, my suggestion wouldn't apply in your case, as you have your own website powered by SmugMug.

Equivalent to rearranging the deck chairs on a cruise ship.

Go out on deck first thing on the first morning. All the chairs are all lined up. Now go back at noon, they are all realigned to the way each user wanted them.

Now go back in the next morning, all lined up again. Again go back at noon, total different arrangement than the noon arrangement of the day before. And everyday you will get a new arrangement on the noon check.

If there was one right way, they would arrange them that way to begin with.

I'd be happy if the gallery "logo" image showed in correct proportion (same format as the images page) rather than the square-cropped thumbnail.

Jessica -- The click on VISIT WEBSITE from the FAA site took me to www.jessicajenneyphotography.com. But, now I realize you have a redirect set up from FAA to your www.jessicajenney.com domain. I will likely do the same with a stand-alone site under a different domain name (with the link back to the FAA AW to shop) later this year once I get enough original paintings done to flush out the filler photos which I have now.

Sarah, not sure I follow, but did you mean to fill the large white space on your opening page with a featured image? You only have a few galleries, which is why it shows a large white space. If you had more galleries, it would be filled and there wouldn't be room for a featured image. I could have this totally wrong, so I apologize if I'm not understanding.

Btw, I've decided to direct people to my FAA page, not my AW site, because on the AW site when you click on a gallery the images show up spaced out too far with price boxes below them, which I think looks tacky. There is not way to change that. Images look much better on the FAA site.

Sarah, as you have so few galleries and images it would probably be better for you to choose the images page for people to land on first, like David, then you can show your images in the order you like best........ Just my opinion!

As to your suggestion, for me, I have so many different categories that it would be difficult to pick one feature image but if you want to suggest this idea officially you should put it in the weekly suggestions thread, that way it will get looked at by Sean (The decision maker.)
