Contacted By Us Motorcycle Club - First Drawing In 15 Years
I was recently contacted by a a US motorcycle Club, asking me to make them a logo. That triggered med to came up with this drawing. My first one in 15 years.
Have not heard anything from them, was it that bad !? :-)
Well the carnage of all those skulls and the guy holding a hatchet gives off the wrong message, even if they are an outlaw club. Logos are usually simple wth the name of the entity/organization and perhaps a symbol that is identified with them. Their insignia is two crossed tridents over a motorcycle wheel. Perhaps they want an updated version of that. Check their current logo here:
I agree with Joy. The work itself is fine, but the guy with the axe gives the impression thats he's gone on a killing rampage. Logos are generally very simple.
Hi Joy, Yes I know they are not mothers kindest child. I read about them before I did the drawing.
They wanted a angry man holding a axe with dripping blood so Thats what they get :-) But I got carried away for every time I worked with it ending up with to many details for a badge to have on the back of a jacket.
At least they made me find the pencil again..
@Sharon yes its on there request, but as I mention above I got alittle carried away he he...
@Alfred, I dont send them the drawing, just give them the link to FAA.
Yngve - this is a drawing but it is not a logo. It cannot be used as a logo.
A logo needs not only to be a drawing but a vector graphic so that it looks good at any size and anywhere, be it on a jacket, the corner of a letterhead or online.
I have to say I'm very surprised that that is what they asked for...a guy holding an ax dripping blood, as it has nothing to do with their current logo. And that's all I have to say about that.
