Facebook Apps

Mine does not work either and I could never get the cart to show up. Facebook says everything is okay.

Thanks Sandra. I got the cart to show up on my Fan page, but from that day onward my new art never posted to my Fan page, but only my Personal Page.
Just tonight, when I post a new image, it does not show up on EITHER FB page.

So I went to check firstly FB. It does not show the FAA link in my Apps. Not sure how to get it back in there.

Tried through FAA whilst logged into my personal FB, but it doesn't work.

Perhaps Abbie may be able to throw some light on this??

Mine is down too, twitter side works perfect.. I sent FAA a email but as you know it will take ... time for them to reply..

Robert, as you have sent FAA email concerning this, and with my discussion here, guess we will now await some response from FAA.

Robert, I hope it does not take too long, but we still can manually add our new uploads to FB anyway.
It is just nice to have less work when adding new images.

I just started my account here, and thought perhaps I was doing something wrong. After reading and re-trying several times I was glad to find that I'm not the only one having issues. Thanks for posting.

Lisa, welcome to FAA.... and hang in there. You can just post to FB at present by copy/pasting the link. Hopefully we will hear of a solution soon.

Someone on the other post about this emailed FAA too and is still waiting to hear back, he said he sent them an email a day ago....

Oh, I see that others are also having trouble with their new pics showing up on FB. Good to know it's not just me. That also could be why after 2 emails to FAA, I haven't heard a response, and they usually respond back pretty quickly.

This is the second day and my 21st attempt trying to authorize the facebook personal application and no luck. Twitter on the other hand works just fine.

If the facebook API is changed. Shouldn't there be someone from tech/web support from FineArtAmerica to remedy the situation for its members? is there a tech/web support for FAA or are we just suppose to exchange ideas and figure it out on our own.

I am new at this so pardon me if you would.

Thanks for your responses. My guess would be that probably everyone is having this problem.

As Abbie has responded above, I am sure that FAA tech support will be looking into this. I am not very knowledgeable about Apps, but presume that this could take some time.

We can all still manually add our images to Face Book which we will have to do until the issue is fixed.

Maintenance

Facebook made changes to their app code on May 1st, 2015, and as a result of those changes, the connection between Fine Art America and Facebook is temporarily disabled. We've modified our code to work with their changes, and we're now just waiting for the tech team at Facebook to review and approve our code. The review process should be finished by May 11th. At that time, you can come back to this page, re-enable our Facebook app, and everything will start working correctly again.

In the mean time, you'll just have to do things old-school. After you upload a new image to Fine Art America, just copy and past the URL into your Facebook timeline.
