I Am Stilll Looking For A Ceramic Cat

I am still looking for a ceramic cat, I had one on my roof a few years back but it was taken off by a storm and shattered. They were a great favorite in the 60s and 70s but went out of fashion, they are a little smaller that a life=size one and is in a standing or moving position, If anyone has two and wants to sell me one I would really appreciate it..

In the picture you can see him on the Roof over the front door

Thank you all...

Have you tried ebay? My sister and I have managed to replace quite a few items that we remembered from our childhood through ebay, especially holiday decorations.

I checked eBay for you, Conor, and did find one....but the price is crazy:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Old-or-Antique-Majolica-Cat-Figurine-Terracotta-Faience-Roof/261851496511?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D29979%26meid%3Dcf5b6def315c411bbebf6324e7b80a82%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D161676344638

If you can't get this giant link to work, just do a search for the title of the auction: Majolica Cat Figurine Terracotta Faience Roof, and it will come up. I guess they are very rare and are considered antiques.

Had never heard of these before but would this be something like what you want? It's only 25 cm, so 10 inches.. maybe too small?

Seems there's been enough 'fatalities" for these cats over the last 40-50 years or so that it might be time for someone to start producing more of them. Do you recall how much you paid for the original or did it come with the house?
