Facebook Fan Page

I am having the same problem and would like some help.

I have the same problem. I didn't notice it until I went to FB and saw that the oast image showing that I sent there was back in mid-March. Anything after that wasn't posted. Contacted Tech Support, but haven't heard anything back yet. Tried the directions to fix it multiple times now with no success.

The thing is that they demand all your apps refresh and resubmit approval every so often. That means us artists setups just stop working

and because everyone puts them on at different times, they are all kicked off at different times, and there is absolutely NO way to let people know, because FAA don't know

If you delete and replace as per my instructions, it DOES work unless Facebook are just having one of their 'we aint going to post anyone's art at present because too many people have already' days

If they just give you a number, I CAN SORT THAT yayyyy... just give me the number

Otherwise you just have to wait patiently til they take the lock off

and, because I keep having to say this again and again, I am going to put this in the Help thread and hope you who have been here longer will send the newbies there next time THEY ask

Please log into FAA and disable both FAA apps

Then, remove the app from your Facebook Pages

FACEBOOK PROFILE

Go to your main homepage and see APPS on the left menu.
Delete the FINE ART AMERICA APP

FACEBOOK PAGE

On your FACEBOOK page, go to EDIT PAGE
On the edit page see the tab for APPS
Delete the FINE ART AMERICA APP

YOUR SITE HERE

Then, Make sure you are logged into Facebook as you, not as your page, and come back to your BEHIND THE SCENES | Facebook Application and enable the application again,

Thanks for the clarification Abbie. I thought it was just me until I saw the other posts concerning it. I've tried multiple times and keep receiving the same message:

"OOPS... SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHTThe Facebook Personal Application no longer has permission to access your Facebook account. Please re-enable it, below."

I'll wait as suggested until something is posted concerning it working again. Thank you.

I'm on a tablet at the moment (hence my typos), but tried on my desktop in both FF & IE browers yesterday. Same message each time.

I'm not having that problem. Monique, what is an app page?? Abbie look at Monique's page! You should have an artists or photographers page.

You are not enabling the profile for some reason which is why you are getting that message

Is it the profile associated with the admin page?

I get that message when on the media page that has the FB and Twitter enabling "button" on it. My Twitter is enabled, and works.

Afterthought: Do you think it might have something to do with the new "Call-To-Action" shop now feature that was offered on FB? I'm trying to remember when it was I opted-in to that feature, and if it was the same time my FB app here stopped working.

Abby, I have done as you suggested, but my page was not coming up like the examples. I guess my question is how do I get my page to open on the shop page not the timeline page?

Lori, you cant get your page to do that. The default landing tab option was removed couple of years ago, unfortunately.

Yes you can do that but you have to use a site like Pagemodo and that will only show for new visitors, not people who like the page

I'm having a really different problem. All of my prices in my FAA app on my FB fan page and showing NO markup - just MY price for buying from FAA. I've logged out - and logged back in - etc., to no avail. Still showing FAA costs - no profit/markup. So, I've removed it. Help!

It is same for me, problem to have my price under the images on the website but also on my fanpage.
I also missing the size on my photo or painting on canvas at FB.

So please help me!

Tina, When I clicked on your link and tried to open an image, this is what comes up: "This piece of artwork is not available for purchase as a print". Mine come up as available, but at wholesale prices, with no markups - so I had to remove it. I haven't read of anyone else having this problem.

I just re-did it - and then logged out of FAA - works now - retail prices coming up. Have to check as to whether the wholesale prices will be showing every time I'm logged into FAA......hopefully not.
