Checks For Payments On Sold Items

I read that "if you chose to receive a check for payment", something like that, only thing is I don't remember checking off check anywhere. I'm in the free, not premium. What happens then? Do they just automatically send you a check for payment? Thx!

unfortunately they took the checks away and never updated the screen. you can only get paid in paypal now. do be sure to fill out the paypal and SS number, or you won't get paid.

On the top right menu, when logged into http://fineartamerica.com or http://pixels.com (whichever you are using mainly), there is a drop down with everything you need for the site

BEHIND THE SCENES is for all the tools you need to set the site up and PROFILE is where your site is. I know it helped me when I first joined to just play in there a while before doing anything else.

At this time you are searching for "PAYMENT INFORMATION" and "TAX INFORMATION" (Tax info only if in the USA or you have an international EIN #)

I wish they still did the check thing. I can understand why they don't but I'm not a big fan of paypal. I have my first payment coming & Hope it goes smoothly. I had to make some changes on paypal & it took forever.

if they set it up for a min amount like other places, i don't see why it would be any harder. it's those lost 50 cent checks that's an annoyance.

It costs money to send out cheques and a LOT of members lose them, wash them or drop them down the loo

so thats more money to send them out again PLUS the time taken

With PayPal it is in and finished with as long as people make sure they are using the right email in there

I've never had any problems with PayPal.

I was a little bummed when I joined and found out it had to be Pay Pal.but after using it for almost three years now, I've never had a problem. Much more convenient than getting a check in the mail and having to find time to go to the bank. Much easier to have it in an account on line to either use or transfer electronically.

Thanks for the Paypal idea, yes I agree would be faster and much better and convenient. I am going to get a Paypal account now. Thanks again!!!

My issue with Paypal is my email is set up under my other business account. So when I get paid, I still have to write myself a check out of that business account to pay my photography business.
