Is There A Name For This Style Or Technique Besides Surrealism

Hello. I was wondering if there is a specific name for the technique that I have been toying around with. The style or technique is to make a few random lines with a pencil or brush perhaps without your eye's opened. Alternatively you can do the thing where your not watching what your trying to draw. Then after you have made your random lines you go back and look at your creation and then see what your mind conjures up and then try to produce what you can see. Almost like looking at the clouded but then drawing and or painting on what you see in your mind.(could use references as well or just do it free hand) I then sometimes flip the work around and see what I see when the work is upside down and then turn it another way and another way. This can produce vary surrealistic images but I wonder if there is a specific word for this.(perhaps a physiological word as I can see them using that) Now I have found this can be rather hit or miss in terms of a successful work but still sort of frees one's mind.I have some examples below.

Any how is there a name to this technique besides just the simple surrealistic or Dada or absurdism.

Technically it is not true Surrealism without Freud. I would call this symbolism or biomorphic abstraction similar in nature to Gorky.

biomorphic abstraction will have to look more up on this. Have not heard that term so a new term to look up.
