Yes...twice last week. I emailed tech support, supplied the name of the image and they were restored promptly.

Yours were removed because they contained sexual content

That is explicitly against our Terms of Use http://fineartamerica.com/termsofuse.html

Please do not reload them

Dear Lady Isabella
Not even with filters on?

JC Findley

No, not even with filters on.

Artistic nudes are fine but blatantly sexual acts are not.

Nobody is talking about blatantly...
Where is the line of artistic nudes with sexual content?
Nipplegate? Klimt's masturbating women? Schiele's self portrait? Mapplethorpe? Koon?

I don't think FAA has an obligation to represent all types of art. As a family friendly website it seems appropriate to me that sexual content in art on this site should be moderated and if you enjoy sharing explicited sexual material perhaps a more mature site would be more appropriate. Why influence the minds of the innocent just to highlight your own sense of artistic pleasure. Famous art with sexual content doesn't mean it should be presented on this platform. Art has infinite limits but society doesn't.

Choco,There are other POD sites that allow sexual content.

Dear Michael and Jessica
Why don't you answer to the question I posted but just keep rehashing what you've been told!
Where is the line here - cause if you cruise this site - it seems totally arbitrary what is filtered or banned or not.

JC Findley

Allow me to state yours crossed that line. FAA is a private company and can set whatever line they choose.

Jessica Jenney

I guess you could say that FAA know it when it sees it.

Chuck Friidrix

which seems totally arbitrary when you check out Stefan Kuhn's work for instance.

Well, we have done about enough public naming here. We will be looking behind the scenes at the info here.
