I think a 50 is the best first lens

Another dumb equipment article that has nothing to do with art.

The kit lens for my Pentax's creates remarkable art photography. Couldn't agree more Hiren.

Second to my kit lens is the Pentax 35mm f/2.4, other known as 'The Plastic Wonder'.

The kit lens that came with my Minolta 5D-an 18-55 zoom-was a very good lens. I'd still be using it if I hadn't lent the camera and lens to a friend 6 years ago.

Why do you guys answer these stupid posts from the guy who never shows back up? (just askin')

These are just crap articles designed to get clicks more than provide useful information.

I have 2 'kit' lenses that have given me thousands of very good, salable photos. Hundreds have been accepted by stock sites that inspect at 100%.

HW - For the people who might want to know, now or several months from now. I'm not answering the OP for the reason you stated.

I didn't click on it. But it is not a bad discussion.

I agree with JC- a 50mm prime is best to start with IMO.

the guy that posts this is just a bot, his image is from a stock modeling site.
