I have had 2 sales where the customer gave me cash so I could order directly from my artist Web site for them. I know sales affects search ranking. If I'm ordering it will that improve search ranking?
No price was not the issue. They did not like to order online. They did not feel comfortable doing it. So they gave me cash. I placed the order and sent it to their address. When I do that I get an announcement page for a sale so I thought it still might improve search ranking.
you ordering - you won't increase in the search. even 2 sales, probably won't increase you that much. and i think it's the total dollars you earned the site, that's what brings you up in the search.
You should set up a collector account and buy from yourself through that account. You'll have to wait to get your commission is all, but it will count as a sale.
