Sponsering Faa Page

Does anyone know how sponsoring a page works? Do you pay additional fee for this? Has anyone sponsor a page and made a sale? Any information will be appreciated.

You do not pay fees. All you have to do is go to the desired page, click "Sponsor this Page" and follow the directions there. You just have to add the link they give you to a public site, then copy that public site's link to the sponsor page, and you are all set! I hope this helps.

keep in mind you'll be one of many others that sponsored that word and will be in rotation. if its a common word you may never be seen. be sure to have the keywords first and only after 24 hours.

you may want to do something about that blocky watermark signature, they may not print those.

Thank you Shelby I think I understand it now. However, I will wait a while before "sponsoring" pages as I have just joined FAA, but it helps to understand everything. Thanks again.

Thank you Mike Savad. Yes, there will be many others doing the same thing. I have decided to wait and explore other things on FAA. Re: "blocky signature" I have changed the fonts to Brush Script, will this help?

I have read your replies to few other posts and I think your suggestions/criticism are very good and productive. I appreciate your input and your advise.

the problem is the size and that 2014. if you hand paint it on there they may ignore it, but a buyer may not want your large name there. this will be framed and hanging some place, and it shouldn't have your name so huge. i sign all my work, but its small and almost hidden. as a thumbnail you don't see it at all. it should be like that. though i don't know the limits they have for signatures. i think basically if it detracts from the image, then you should make it smaller or more faded.

Hemu,

You have to have your own website to sponsor keywords here on FAA. You need
to research what type of site that should be.

I'd suggest Wordpress .org. You will get Google Analytics demographics to work with it as well.

Common site builders such as Weebly basic for free dont allow you to add many pages. You can add
20 sponsorship links per page. I think you get 3 keywords per link.

You might want to know a lot more about the ins and outs of using different website builders and
what you want to achieve before doing anything. My Bluehost commitment is three years for $127.

WP .org is free.

I might add I really like another digital artists art, and we have begun to compare notes on
marketing. We have a lot in common. He saw my site and liked the simple scroll function I
had built into my theme usage. He said his site was ruined by having page after page for every
single image. With photographers this is tricky. Photographers work with larger number of images
generally. So you need to know how you will approach this whole thing globally.

OK Mike, I got it. I am going to try to find out the restrictions on artist's signature fro FAA staff (if they respond), if not I will make my sig smaller and fading. Again, thanks Mike, I appreciate it.

David,

I am on worldpress.com but this sponsoring business is getting too confusing to me. I think I will just wait now. Thanks for your help.

Thank you, Mary Ellen!

I have my problems with sponsoring. The chances to get seen is very slim, and for this slim chance you have to place links, which lead to other people´s work.
