New Duvet Covers

first I heard of this new product thank you

I don't see any offering for Duvet's at Pixels, FAA, or AW sites. I had to go look up the meaning of what a duvet is too, but now I know. :)

Vivian, that link is broken. I tried to Google it..found it - it only showed about 10 of them, and my picture wasn't one of them. I waited a few minutes, refreshed the page and it still didn't show it. Is it still a work in progress?

Hmm ... the site was just down for me ... if they're releasing new product, that explains that little hiccup. I'll look around for the duvet covers, haven't seen a link or notice for them anywhere, so glad I saw your note, Becca. Be patient ... I'm sure they don't just snap their fingers and all the eyes are crossed and t's dotted ... or ... whatever ... lol!!

Lois, I am a very patient person- I was just curious if anyone was having the problem as well or if it was in the process of being released.

Couldn't connect either, and kept getting the "...down for maintenance" message. If they're going to do maintenance, I would think midnight or so would be better, instead of the middle of the working / business day.

Really? Your file would have to be pretty large to print on a duvet cover, and I cannot imagine a polyester duvet cover. Throw pillows are fine, but no polyester goes on my bed, lol. We'll see... this is getting rather exciting.

I think my digital art would work for duvet covers..I can't remember the size it showed it had to be - but I would definitely like the calendars more. I would be afraid of too many returns on the covers for poor picture quality

Tote bags, please.

Our soft microfiber duvet covers are hand sewn and include a hidden zipper for easy washing and assembly. Your selected image is printed on the top surface with a soft white surface underneath. All duvet covers are machine washable with cold water and a mild detergent.

Thanks for the info, Jessica. That is beautiful. I think we'd have had calendars by now if they were planning to offer them. It would be convenient to have them here, but I won't be holding my breath on that. You can have them printed at other sites, even at your local drugstore, so... there's that.

Yes, bring on the calendars. Just make them competitive with (or better than) Zazzle's, and I will buy my own calendars here instead of there.

Oh, and how about let's introducing little sweaters for our hairless rat dogs or beer-can koozies (now THAT's high art - did I spell that right?) Nah, ... even better, custom-printed ace bandages for those oh, so inconvenient ankle sprains.

I joke, but frighteningly, this could be the only future for visual art. Scarrrrry!

Please no calendars or T shirts. People will put money on pillows and duvets. Calendars have a little window of time to sell. Most calendars are cheap and meant to be thrown out. There are tons of calendars. If you look in a quality interior magazine (Elle Décor) you won't see calendars, but you will see quality in rugs, bedding and lamps. No calendars.

I buy calendars that I like the pictures in, that way when the year is over- I tear out the pictures and hang them up.
That is true about the small window for them to sell- but maybe it could just be a seasonal type of thing? That way, people would be more inclined to buy them if they only had a limited time offer

I love calendars. I will buy them, if nobody else will, in all their custom-print-on-demand, high-priced glory. (^__^)

From a mass business standpoint, calendars probably ARE a horrible idea, since people can pick up a self-made one for around $7 at Vistaprint, when that company runs their near-year-end special.

I love these duvet covers! I can't wait to start promoting them. I also like the idea of tote bags perhaps in a few different styles. I would like to see more variety of phone cases, I have an LG G3 or something like that which I just got and I wanted to purchase a phone cover here but its not available for that phone.

Cathy, yes! MORE phone case types would be awesome. I have had a couple people tell me they wanted to buy it but their case wasn't available :(

What's a duvet?

A duvet is like a down comforter that you put a removable cover on. You can take the cover off and wash it.

Maybe I'm just used to paying 10 quid at Ikea for a duvet cover, but the base price seems astronomical to me. I priced them just for the heck of it, but can't fathom many people chalking up that much money for just a duvet cover. Hope if we eventually get calendars the base price isn't completely off the mark of a marketable product.

My 24 MP Camera only does 6000 x 4000 so my photos won't work for the Duvet. I'd have to edit my photos to increase the size and that would mess with the quality. My camera's highest quality setting produces 20MB - 25MB files. I would think that most good quality 5000 x 5000 images would go over the 25MB file upload? How many are able to get this size and what equipment are you using?
