Make sure you're adding the correct cname and host name

A couple of people have not added custom.artistwebites.com

Hi William,

try logging in through your XXX.artistwebsite.
Navigate to: behind the scenes > General > click on "Custom Domain Name >
Enter the Domain Name you want to use.
An Instructions page will come up with the DNS settings you need to put on your Domain Registrar (where you purchased the domain name, e.g. GoDaddy).
Where it says to add "custom.artistwebsite", make sure to substitute "custom" with your name the way it appears on the webpage.

That's it, it should work now. I just did this for my Mom's site here: http://cynthiamcleanart.com/

Regards,

I had trouble with that too and asked the seller (hostgator) of the domain name to fix it for me. I remember it being a hassle and got the run around but in the end it was done.

Good light and happy photo making!

Hi Juergen,

how did you get the hyper links to your text in your About section. For example "Facebook" & "Twitter" on your page has a hyper link to your actual Facebook & Twitter pages. Is their an easy way to do it or do you have to do html code?
