No, you cannot register the same... just sign in using your INSTAGRAM log in

Abbie, thanks for the prompt reply, however, I'm more confused now. Are you saying that to login to InstaPrints I need to join Instagram as well?

Some photos taken with the iPhone from my Trip to Iceland in June. Of course I had my "real" camera with me but is was great fun to snap some pics with the phone and submit them to Instaprints...

Instagram photographers --- I'm going to change my OP a bit. I would like to keep this thread going throughout 2015 ... so, just like we have another thread to post your latest blog post, I ask you to share your latest uploads to InstaPrints.com in groups of three each post. Lets make this an image thread only and provide a great value message to our customers by sharing it at least once per week through you marketing channels!

Would love to join in the fun, but I can't even join the site. Filled out my info once, and now it just kicks me right back out to the home page whenever I hit "Sign In" or "Join".

Is this only for people with instagrams? Do you send only photographs from phones or something? Sorry for all these weird questions but I have never heard of it :)

Instagram is an app in Play store or iTunes. Put it on your phone, make an account and upload pictures. It is not for the images you put here but more social ones.....I adore Instagram. No need for chat it is just ALL images

I will let Sean know about the log in issue. i seem to log in automatically so have had no issues

I've just reactivated my instaprints account. For some reason it was not showing any of the prints from instagram although I had uploaded some previously. So thanks for the email Frank as it made me look at my account. I should do it more often!
Anyway after reloading them today these are my most viewed:

Is it just me or is it sometimes difficult to log in to instaprints?!

I can't seem to log in on my ipad at all and I logged out on my laptop to do something else and now can't get back in!

It's not just you, Georgia. I can't log in at all, not even through the forum. Abbie said she's going to let Sean know about the issues with the log in, so hopefully we'll be able to get back on the site soon.

Added. ... It is like a bizzaro universe in the forum there. It is the same but different and scary. I keep expecting to see a Mike that does straight out of the camera photography and a Frank that bashes Pentax and a Big John that only shoots color.

There are a lot of images purchased. But you have to an Instagram member

So to be a member you first need the phone...an iPhone or equivalent?

Val -- You need a mobile device with a camera and Instagram: iPhone, iPad, etc. That is to login and upload from IG.

Yes, know what you mane, I have a flip-phone with a camera that I only use for calls, and I use the iPad mini for everything else.

I am totally in the dark about iphones and ipads...I won't ask a bunch of stupid question but will check it out...my phone is about ...I forget... it's old and I think I pay about 60 for a landline I seldom use.

If you're going to buy a phone FOR the camera this is a good place to look. Though don't know if top uploads are because it's a good camera or good marketing of the camera.

Val, most phones do nowadays. Get anything over 8mp and they take good photos normally

Sony are great as they concentrate on the camera THEN the phone

The LG2 + are great cameras and cheaper phones....they are now coming into their own as a major force and I miss my LG camera and phone a lot

iPhones I would stay away from. IPads are noisy

Samsungs are good also

You're right, Abbie, about the iPad being noisy ... especially the ones with the 5MP sensor. Once I post process them though it can be quite stunning.

frank could you possibly explain how this is good for the artist to show his /her work listed on instaprint on fineartamerica...do not bother telling me there a sister(same) company unless you have stock in the company or you are the printer /fulfillment center,maybe you own a delivery company.

Tom -- This is just like any other image thread here on the discussion board. The mod has posted here so it is approved. There are some remarkable iPhoneographers on InstaPrints, and it's all about helping each other make it through life.

Don't have a mobile phone - Shock, Horror! So instagram's no good for me then.

Okay, dumb question...how do we join "instaprints" and do the pictures have to be taken on a mobile device?

Rose -- visit instaprints.com and click,the 'join ' button. Not sure if you still need an IG account to sign up or not, but once you do you can use your FAA login if both use the same email address, from what I understand. I use the same login for both sites and thus have the same bio on both, it syncs .


Yes, you can upload from both Instagram and your PC, so both formats will work. It's unlimited uploads as that is the animal of Instagram.

I was finally able to get on there a few months ago, then promptly forgot all about it until I sold a couple of pillows to someone in Florida last month:



I would love to see the rest of their decor because these two together as pillows seemed pretty random.
