Google+ Not Working?

Sorry if this has already been covered, but I've been out of touch for months and am just beginning to try to catch up. I uploaded a new image and added it to Google Plus from the FAA page after it loaded. When I went to my Google+ page, the image title and description were there but rather than the image itself, there was just a link back to the FAA page. Am I doing something wrong?

Well - at least you didn't get a red hot sizzling chili

Vat's up with that, Roy?

LOL!! I've gotten that red hot sizzling chili a few times myself!! @Kathleen, that's the image that comes up a lot on G+, instead of our own image. I usually take my link over and copy and paste and then you can click and change the size or item that the image shows up on. Not always though.....G+ has been weird for me lately. I've been avoiding it a lot lately.............

I do the same thing Francie does cuz the upload page is too long and it won't show the submit button from here. I got tired of faa's red pepper as well.

OK, I'm feeling particularly dense about now but what do you mean? Francie explained but it didn't compute. I want to select a few new things to add but I want to do it right. Thanks!

Kathleen, I'm not good at explaining things, but I'll try.

Copy the link at the top of the page of the art you want to share.
In your G+ status update section, where it has Text, Photos, Link, Video, Event, Poll....click on "Link."
Then, when it shows "attach:", paste your link there. You can still add text in the white section over top of that, such as "new upload" or whatever you want.
When you paste the link, the image will come up. You can leave it as is or hover over it. A thin black bar will come up with < and > where you can click on these and change the way the image shows. I usually just leave it as it comes up.

Not sure if this is what you need. If not, PM me and I'll try to help you more!!

There are many discussions on google plus issues,..Google +does like links that take you to a site with a prompt to buy, Some have been banned for doing so.

I always post a separate, watermarked image to any of the social media sites, then with an invitation, and link, to visit my gallery to see more images, better than trying to direct sell a particular image.
Forgot to mention, also resize the image down to around 800px wide

If you do not have a g+ business page you can be banned for posting images that mention sales. Post to your biz page is ok . to post to non biz page upload image to G+ then paste link to your page .

I've never looked into G+ Business page, is that something you have to pay for or free like a Facebook page?

I frequently have issues with that site that coming from such an advanced company should not be the case at least there are alternatives. Check out my work on this site - Artist and filmmaker

Thanks ;)

Thanks for all the above info. I don't post regularly, so that may be why I haven't been banned or warned. I'll check into a business page. Whew...........can't keep up with it all!!

I just tested it and it worked fine. I have been using it once and a while. I used to do it the way Paul suggested and use my own thumbnail and then a link to the image. I prefer it but the quick and easy way does work for me. I don't have a biz page.
