Question Regarding Twitter Retweets

I retweet people that retweet me but it is quite a chore. I know there are ways to have it done automatically but I am worried I will be retweeting something offensive. I figure one can not be blocked for retweeting but I thought I would ask since I have been blocked in the past for adding people too quickly.

Anyone here use the automatic retweet methods and is there any reason to be worried that Twitter will get mad about it and block the user?

The Automatic retweet? Useless. I have a page where I tweet only my works. No retweets except rare cases.

Usually i RT tweets of important profiles (museums, art galleries, etc.) and only sometimes something of my followers. This is because I am that I must be retweeted, I create contents, and those need to be shared, not more.

Here my profile as an example. https://twitter.com/Erian_A

The problem is to try to create interesting tweets

I stopped following someone who was using automatic retweets. I was fed up with being bombarded with hundreds of tweets each day but there again I don't have time to look at all that stuff and I know I don't use it enough. I find it hard to keep up with all this marketing!

I have the same concerns and it's on my list of things to improve on. Although I don't use the feature because of offensive concern than I'm using tweetadder. The retweet section will allow you to set a list of people to retweet. It also allows you to specify keywords to look for in the posts it chooses to retweet, as well as screen for porn.

There no doubt about it that twitter mystifies me in how people would use it and I need to get more involved in who and what is in my feed, so I could even do a retweet list let alone shape my presence there. Steep learning curve and little time.

Thanks Mary Ellen but I have 15.6 thousand followers right now. I guess I could list the people that regularly retweet me. I will look into using my tweet adder more.
