Why Do My Shares Disappear?

When I rearrange or edit my uploads I lose my Facebook share numbers and the rest of the social media shares. It goes back to zero count. I had 17 shares on one upload, now it's gone. I organized my uploads to fall into order and be more appealing. Now when some one views my page they want see where others liked and shared the image. Frustrating!!!

they vanish but they come back if your refresh the page. also if you change the title and break the link it will reset to zero. if you had 17, it's not like they erased them, they are still out there, the counter is just a counter.

i wouldn't worry too much about it.

the first image i see 26 for facebook.

It is kind of a bummer so. Galleries well sorted make them more pleasant to the viewer. However, some visitors might think one images it better than another one because the counts are lower. It's human nature.

i can't imagine a buyer looking at the counts at all. i mean if you had one image that has been sitting for 3 months gathering 1000 views. and a new image with only 2, i don't think they would rate one being better then the other. buyers are interested in the images

They don't vanish, you just can't see them unless you refresh.

btw, your first two images have cropping issues and won't print as they are.

Good to know, I'll refresh the page. Thanks JC, I got to get those fixed ASAP! I had camera problems when I first started FAA. Trying to get all that resolved.

Is there a way I can view who shares my photographs on Facebook?

All your social media counts for your ifrst drawing are at 0....i gave you a like....not sure if it will stick or not.
Sometimes refresh doesn't do the trick.
Best advice I can give you is to ignore the numbers here...they really only add up if they are sales. ;)
