Yes, you should. It is worth it just getting the commission on the printing materials alone.
Not too many people here regret getting the premium site - & we are just about ready to see some hopefully new wonderful surprises .

Best wishes.

the commission is good but that requires sales.

Yes.

The personal professional website is alone worth more than the price of admission, but having more than one destination for folks to view and stumble upon your work is also priceless. Your perspective changes once you become an official member - you really start seeing it in a different light, you feel you're part of a larger team that really wants to help you (okay, there are a few soursobs*, but they're everywhere)

*I'm looking at you, soursobs

For. It's the 'unlimited' opportunity of the Premium account that makes it worth it for me.

Having a clean, easy-to-navigate portfolio and website, both allowing unlimited uploads, is worth it.

The ability for visitors to view those unlimited images, in a variety of frames and mats is worth it.

Even if I never sold anything here, I'd stay for those two reasons. Plus, any additional place to potentially be noticed, as Mark mentioned, is a positive thing. The possibility of sales being transacted while you sleep or go about your day, is gravy. ;-)

*Abbie jots down the word 'soursobs' for future use*

lol yeah, I like "soursobs" myself :P

Just what I have learned from the advice and information in the forums has been well worth the thirty dollars!

Taking the plunge means you are full on committed to an online business. Hopefully this means you will follow through with everything that is required to make it selling online - marketing, branding, creating a volume of good work etc.

Yes, the thirty bucks is a good price. The parsimonious nature of the site (except for the print pricing) notwithstanding, It is a fair deal.

By all means spend the money.

Meanwhile I wonder what usage Abbie will find for the word, “soursobs”. :-)

I'm more surprised you found a use for parsimonious.

they really should make that as clear as possible on that screen.

anyway, it's all what you want to do, do you have more than 25 images? then yes. i was forced too when i first joined, i had over 1200 at the time. that's your main advantage. there are others like the accessory bonus that will pay for itself. and your own webpage as well.

parsimonious isn't a fruit?

You can also sell originals here. Some are here for that alone. Plus you will be reaching a wider audience and that can lead to commissions and licensing. It should be worth it just to have the premium site to send your collectors to.

Well, I am not saying that an AW guarantees those sales. But for $30 you get your own lovely little Artist website.

Unlimited uploads available for sale, commission on materials - & would you rather send people to FAA America to view your work ( where they can easily side step & view a few hundred thousands of other Artist's work ) OR send them directly to your own site - with only YOUR images.

$30 A Year to invest in yourself for a professional presentation - that is about .09 a day.

I was on the fence. Then I sold an image and figured it paid for half of the fee. :)

Kelley Lee McDonald

I have a premium site with only a handful of images on it. Maybe tomorrow I'll upload 200 images, probably not. :-)

Patricia Lintner

Yes Nicole I feel it is much worth it. Knowing that the more you get out there the better the chance for people to see you. $30 a year is incredibly cheap for what you get.

You are limited without it so why limit yourself? I say yes friend :)

Toby McGuire

Well worth it just to get past being able to upload 25 images. I would guess over the course of a year most people will make that money back.

Jane Linders

Thirty bucks is a steal. It's worth it even if you don't sell anything, just for the visibility. Go for it.

Martin Capek

Try it for a year. You will see if it´s woth it for you. No one can predict that. That reminds me that my premium ends in about a month. Probably no renewal for me.

Andrew Pacheco

As far as I'm concerned, the premium membership is well worth the money. Anyone who is serious about their work should be able to justify a $30 a year investment in themselves.

Phyllis Beiser

Yes, well worth the thirty a year!
Just looked at your work and it is beautiful, I would say, "GO FOR IT!"
