A Request To Mods - Re Closing Threads

When you close a thread such as this one http://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=2116840 with the comment "please use correct thread" could you please add a link to the correct thread.
By the way, just curious, are mods paid a bonus on the number of threads they can close in a day - they seem to be getting a bit carried away with themselves lately and making it very difficult to get a good flow of information, when anyone asks a question its usually "this has already been ask xyz months ago, goodbye" - thread closed
I suspect this thread will get closed before it gets answered, we shall see :)
