no, because if everyone did that it would be filled to the top with nothing but - see my new stuff - threads. and buyers don't come here. if you want to be seen you have to advertise outside of this forum.

where are the rules in the thread. the should be place for people to be free a they plasse. that hole point of thread is to be free.

The rules were actually more strict until recently. I tend to agree with them. Too many "Look at me" threads otherwise.

This is a privately owned artists web site. He lets us post on a forum. His site, his rules.

i never seen the threads so slow and died. would rather live life like water and be free. or be on a muddy road

If you would like to open (what we refer to as) a 'Themed Image' thread for people to post their airplane/airport images, that would be perfectly acceptable. You can do that. Many people here personally host those types of thread.

What you did was dump eight images into a single post - did not discuss anything - did not ask for a critique - did not invite anyone else to participate. That is not acceptable, and that is why you were referred to the other thread.

By opening a Themed Image thread, you are responsible to be the host. We expect you to manage your thread and it's participants. If you have an airplane thread, for example, and someone posts an image of a car, well, that is when you need to advise them of the premise of the thread.
