Oil Painting I Can't Find Anything About It? ??? Help

Hi Sarah.. There are a few artists with this name but I think the most likely is a British artist who was most active during the mid 1800's. This is similar to his style. If you take a good picture of the signature you may have better luck finding out for sure using reverse image search.. It is a beautiful painting.. You're very lucky to own it!

look for it on google images and tin eye. but ideally its best to drop this off at a gallery or an auction house, we can't do much about it here online and with a small image. we aren't art experts, and even if you find out who did it, it may not be worth as much as you want it to be.

Honestly I'm not too pressed on selling it or making any money I just wanted to find out where it came fromthanks for all the help and yes I use that website thanks a lotI didn't really find out too much on it I'm going to take it to a gallery
