Self Portrait - Feedback And Help Needed.

Hi,

In my practice I use a variety of mediums to make art and I wanted to create an image that could illustrate this. While experimenting with ways to combine drawing and photography, I created this self portrait which seamlessly unites the two. This artwork is an example of the endless possibilities that art has to offer in our modern digital age.

I was wondering what medium I should select from the FAA categories, should I choose Photography, Drawings or Digital Art?

I was also wondering what medium I should type in allowing me to be more specific, should I choose Drawing and Photography, Drawing vs Photography, Digital or something else?

I would like to hear your thoughts on which medium is most suitable and I would also love to receive some feedback on this image as it is my first attempt at combining the two mediums.

Is there not a mixed media category?

I would think it's a 'drawing'. - of course - I'm presuming you drew this and colored it in.

Hi Conor,

I think generally you can select two categories at a time.

I would select digital art as one of the categories.

@April - I actually forgot about the mixed media category, thanks for reminding me.

@Roy - Yes I did the drawing but the coloured in part are the original photographs. Hence the combination of drawing and photography.

@David - Yes, maybe I could just select a number of categories.

So I think I can select a number of categories, but what should I write in the Medium section where I have to decide on one.

If it were me, I'd choose Digital Art from the drop down and where you have to type it in next to the title, I'd put in Mixed Media.
