Watermarks

Hi everyone. I'm still a newbie here; only started posting since Sept. 1st. I have a couple of questions and would appreciate any and all feedback.

Concerning watermarks! Is it a good idea, or does it really deter sales? Once you tick the box to add watermark here during upload, can it be removed? And lastly, if you sign your photo or artwork, is that considered a watermark and as such a deterrent?

Hi, you will get your answers by putting Watermarks in the discussion search. http://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=2087434 is just one of the many threads already ongoing

You will need to reload the image to add or remove the watermark once it is up. If you have too many to do then you can ask myself and I will do them all

Signatures on your work are fine as long as they are unobtrusive

Ok Abbie, I need your help. I've noticed that my photos in the gallery don't have watermarks, but on the main page they do. Also, I uploaded new pics but old ones, seem to still be there. And yes, I would like watermarks removed.
