Starting My Third Year
Starting my third year on FAA and have been busy as of late, attacking my portfolio with a vengeance. I have had a minimal amount of sales the past two years and trudge on submitting new work and reviewing old work. Sometimes this means throwing out the clutter and so far I believe I have deleted 200 images and added more key-wording and descriptions for an equal amount. Still a lot more to do and some images I can't part with just yet because I see potential or I have sentimental attachment to some. I paid for last years fees so I am still ok with that, I know it takes some time to become recognized and plan on working even harder to achieve that. One thing I noticed in reviewing my past images vs the newer stuff I submit is how I have developed in my skills and the photos are getting more composition. Time, patience and practice is the best advice I can give anyone thinking of giving up. Been a fun two years here and looking forward to the next. Also thanks to all who post on here, Mike, Floyd, Karen and the rest, you all have taught me much and to this I say thank you.
