Do You Have A Second Interest In Art?

Whenever I tire of photographing realistic street images of people, I turn my photographs into neo expressionism. The expressionists rejected the ideology of realism.
Neo-expressionists returned to portraying recognizable objects, such as the human body (although sometimes in an abstract manner), in a rough and violently emotional way using vivid colours and banal colour harmonies.

Overtly inspired by the so-called German Expressionist painters--Emil Nolde, Max Beckmann, George Grosz, Ernst Ludwig Kirchner—and other expressionist artists such as James Ensor and Edvard Munch. Neo-expressionists were sometimes called Neue Wilden ('The new wild ones'; 'New Fauves' would better meet the meaning of the term).

Here is my version of a neo expressionist image (photograph)...

I don't know Robert if this style Neo-expressionist applies to sculpture, but if it does here is one where I'm trying to portray the human body in a rough and violently emotional way, although I am limited by color as I apply color by heating the copper to 2000 degrees, so the color is not easily chosen, but some times I can get the intense, blues, greens, and purples.

An attempt at realism vs Neo expressionism , again not certain if it fits these definitions.

It's hard to pinpoint expressionism as it is open to all sorts of distortions. What it isn't is stark reality. I notice as a street photographer I can get pretty down just recording as is doom and gloom. So I need to express some of my images into wild colors, etc.

Note...
If I had the money and place to display your images, I certainly would collect your work. If I win the lottery, I will open up a studio with your work, my photographs, and my pal's wood carvings of birds.

I am historically a fine art painter...in the last three years, I've gotten into abstract photograhy...have even blended the two into my hybrid images...it's been exciting!

I do mostly street images along with some dog/cat/zoo animals, but I also like doing religious images. I am an agnostic but I find religious symbolism quite interesting...
