Bethany, I recommend you only upload your best work. I know,... I've been guilty of the same thing... "I took the pictures so, they're all good!"
But honestly 6 or 9 or 12 pictures of the same girl (or cat) makes your page feel amateurish. (Which you may be. We all were once.)
You've got an eye and some very nice shots. Use the best ones.
With that said, I'm now thinking perhaps you may have been hired (or as a favor) to take their photo (or trying to build a portfolio) and have put them all up so they can choose which one they want printed & sent to them by FAA. You may want to consider setting up your web page so that it displays your galleries not all the images at one time.
When I have shot portraits for people I create a "Private Gallery" which only they can access with a password. The only unfortunate drawback by doing this on FAA is that those images will appear with all the rest of my images when you select the "Artwork" tab on my page. This is something I am hoping FAA can change in the future. But in the meantime by having my web page default to my galleries, the viewer sees 1 representative image for each gallery and none of the "Private Gallery" images.
And never forget, everyone - me included - has an opinion. Only you can decided what is right for you.
I like this shot.
These days of digital cameras you can't expose for the blacks and develop for the whites like the good ol' days of film. You have to expose for the whites and fix the blacks. This would have been a much nicer shot if it weren't clipped.
A rule of thumb. Never shoot a woman with the camera below eye level. (Unless she's a model who can take it). The heavier the woman - the higher the camera.
She has a pretty face. But, if you raised the camera her face would begin to look thinner and the viewer's eye would be drawn to her eyes first instead of her chin.
Also, if she had turned her head slightly to the sun and was side lit, that would have helped thin her face as well.
I can feel your enthusiasm for photography. Keep shooting. That's the only way we get better.
In the interest of fairness, here's my page for your critique. (If you wish).
