They also don't recommend using watermark. You will usually get an e-mail when you make a sale. Welcome and good luck!

Size matters on FAA. You need to offer the largest, highest quality work you can. Out of my meager sales, only two have been the size you are offering. Well, three, but I bought one of them. Most of mine are 16X20 and bigger. The copyright notices on your work likely will not be printed by FAA even if they sell.

To answer your question, FAA works pretty well for us and they typically will e-mail you when you make a sale. However, if the printer won't print it, you'll get another e-mail.

If you're talking about sales, it doesn't work at all for me. I'd say that 99.9% of my viewers are bots.

well i guess saba you have to do the same thing, you have no descriptions which will help no one understand your work. quite a few have skimpy keywords. the more you have the better as long as its not spam. i see compression noise in some, but i can't tell if the site did that or not. you'll have to find your audience, which will be the hardest part.

How ?

I like your stylized signature, which will probably be accepted for printing if you made it smaller and/or less prominent. I have seen prints with borders sell.

thats the challenge of being the artist. to make art for the public, or to get the public to like your art. if you make it for you, it may never sell. if you make it for someone there is a better chance it will sell, or be easier to find. like if you made something to honor soldiers, then soldiers may want it. if you make something that is theme specific, your chances are higher of someone seeing that and other work. its no different than making a good catchy video on youtube and being discovered.

Works great for me, but I put in hundreds of hours marketing my work. Its not a get rich quick scheme, you've got to have talent, and work at it hard and treat it as a business, and you can make real money here. Upload a few shots of flowers and misc that don't really stand out from the crowd, and you may be waiting for that first sale email for a loooooong time.

If you have not done already, please take our tour http://fineartamerica.com/tourfineartamerica/introduction.html ( http://pixels.com/tourfineartamerica/introduction.html for Pixels users) as that will answer most questions you may have about the site
Then read our Terms of Use http://fineartamerica.com/termsofuse.html ( http://pixels.com/termsofuse.html for Pixels users)to make sure you understand what we require of you and what you may require of us ;)

You will need PayPal to receive payments and the images will need to be of printable quality before you upload

They need to be under 25mb and jpg or png. Adobe RGB or sRGB Images should be over 800 pixels but there is no maximum size. If the images are over 25mb then you can shrink the image down slightly or compress down to 10. Never upload enlarged images (that is making the pixels more than you have normally) as we will probably not pass it in QC if you sell.

All members should read this thread http://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=432109 ( http://pixels.com/showmessages.php?messageid=432109 for Pixels users)

Please note that we do not do ANY quality control unless you get an order, so you must make sure the images are top quality before uploading. You do this by 'VIEW'ing the work in your editor at 100% and going over it completely looking for blurriness or blockiness.

If you wish to test the quality of the prints you may buy your own work at base cost

When logged in you are seeing the prices you would pay if you wanted to buy your own work so do not panic if they are lower than you have put in :)

Basically, all you really need to do is decide what YOU want to earn and then put that in the spaces provided

When registered and logged in, on the top right menu there is a drop down with everything you need for the site

BEHIND THE SCENES is for all the tools you need to set the site up and PROFILE is where your site is.

Here is a great post on the forum about marketing your work http://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=1601966 ( http://pixels.com/showmessages.php?messageid=1601966 for Pixels users) Sales do not happen overnight and you need to be working on getting people to know you are here.

I think that just about covers what most new people ask. Hope this helps. If you read this and have any specific queries please let us know by opening a new thread with the subject clearly marked as the question :) Alternatively you can find SUPPORT under the ABOUT tab in the top menu. Customer Support is for when you purchase prints and need help. Technical Support is for artist members and account and usage help

Oh yeah... here are the rules of the social area, http://fineartamerica.com/showmessages.php?messageid=260080 ( http://pixels.com/showmessages.php?messageid=260080 for Pixels users) and the Moderators are linked at the top of that page
