Moderators: Should They Close Threads That They Disagree With?
Last night, I had a thread going, an emotional thread, to most and concerned guns and gun control. Nothing political about guns, as I mentioned, ALL party members, Republican,Democrats and Independents, own guns. I was using an "event" that seems to suggest that there should be more "gun control" and more "common sense" with people that have guns.
JC,the moderator disagreed and closed the thread. "I on the other hand believe the entire thread is political and a statement on guns and the feelings on gun and gun ownership," As we all know, JC is on the opposite end of this debate, from me and shouldn't have closed this down, due to personal reasons.
Also, almost like "we're going to arrest you because we think, later, you'll commit a crime" with this statement " Jeffery has spoken to keep the politics out of it but yet, it is still going down that path and I don't see that changing."
So I ask the people here, if this was right, by JC to shut this down. I KNOW he CAN, because he did, but was that right?
I don't.
I may or may not be around after this post, let's see how they handle this.

This seems to be as good a place and a good reason, to make a point,
