Low Or No Views Anyone?

Not that I've been selling like crazy before this week, but... I haven't had a single view in about 4 or 5 days... from about 30-70 views a day to ZERO...

Anyone else????

i haven't counted, but many people are out on vacations, trying to squeeze the last bits of august out before school and such. everything seems to be slower. according to stat counter i've been getting around 100-200 hits a day, which is a bit slow. i didn't add up the master, but it's probably around 1000 or so.

Thanks, Mike.

I actually have the rotating image link to my shop on the FP of my website and I'm guessing that's not even grabbing the attention of my followers... which is strange... I get quite a bit of traffic from my website.

Bad time to kick off my Groupon through another site... Everyone is out milking the last bit of summer sun? 533 million North American can't all be outside at all hours of the day/night. ;)

it might be too nice to be on the computer. and news hasn't hit the world yet about the UK printers. hoping it will come back with force soon. some real stores have already got christmas decorations up. seeing that tells me that they are desperate for sales too.

Sales at the day job are under performing as well. You might be right. Thanks for the moral support, Mike. :)

Hi Morgan, my views are off 30-35% from the prior 3 months but they are still above last year's stats so I'm seeing a definite slowdown but the crickets aren't chirping yet. Schools began opening this week so I think families have been squeezing in last minute vacations and are spending money on clothes, books and school supplies this month.

i'm agreeing with the above comments. school started today so i think they have been the priority & many have been on vacation past couple weeks at my job too which most dont go on computer

Katie, go to Behind the Scenes, then select Statistics, then Views. You can also see your stats for Comments there.

Behind the Scenes can be found in the drop down menu below your Name in the upper right hand corner of your profile.

Oh fooey... School has killed off my very first groupon for a new site that put a lot of faith in my art... That must be the reason my sales stopped on Saturday. On another note, School teachers here in British Columbia, Canada may still be on strike when the elementary school year begins and each day they are the BC government is going to give the parents $40 for daycare fees whether they need it or not... The government in this province is ridiculous....

another way to look at it is the forum here. usually it's busy with people, but looking at the first 5-6 lines, there's like 30 min or more of time between them. when usually the whole page has the same time span. so less people are here. i judge slowdowns that way. and by the lack of garage sales in my area. where there might be say 5-10, these last 6 weeks or so, there have been none at all. when they start coming back it will tell me that there are more people.

oddly though this year i thought would be better due to all the new houses being put up. seems every block has a new mega house replacing the old. there must be a market for that, so hoping the art sales will follow.

If we're a typical family, we just got back from vacation and now school is starting this week and then Labor Day weekend is coming up. Too busy to consider shopping for anything other than school stuff. But get ready for the Christmas season around the end of Sept.

Well, you just never know, maybe some parents will use their $40 day care fees to buy your prints? the striking teachers are viewing your works to kill boredom at the picket lines?

It only takes one view. At least, that is what I tell myself.
