What To Call My Photo Art ?

Hello everybody, I just joined this website and happy to meet you guys on here.
I just uploaded my photographs and I haven't seen such style on here just yet. :)
I basically take recent photos (my own travel photos) & edit them into vintage styled photos.
Please take a look of my photos or one example on the left. Thanks.
What do we call such style ?
Is it faux vintage, mock vintage ?

Thank you very much.

That's nice. I have an entire gallery devoted to this, but I like yours. Call it photography -- no need for anything further. It's evident that it's a photograph.

bob ;)

but then, that's what I always say. That and foo, but this is more of a bob.

Seriously, my thought would be to describe it as you look at it in your descriptions. Maybe use a bit of canned text?

they've always been called photos, even before they turned old. usually they are called restoration projects. thats what i call the archives i fix anyway.

I'd be wary of describing anything as "faux"

Vintage photo creations, or anything else you want to call them. Its good to have a niche and even stand out with a certain name since the word photographs is the common name for everything made from any digital device

Thanks guys ! :) I am getting a pretty well earned income editing the recent photos into vintage style. I tried HDR edit before but after a while clients telling me that the colors are too vibrant they hurt their eyes !
I was looking for somber mood photos and have been perfecting new recent photos into these 'vintage' photos.

Happy to say that my edits have been hanging on residential houses, school and modern offices and having clients of all ages.

I got feedback from clients telling me people asking them, 'where did you get these old photos ?' And when the clients show the people of the original photos, the people would exclaim "oh wow !!!" :)

So, I am bringing my editing skill to fineartamerica and will see how it'll go :) I'm not quitting my day job just yet.

Hoping to discuss more photo tricks and finding some photo friends on here as well.

Thank you very much.
