Unfortunately, no, I'm afraid. It seems that is just they way it is. Unless it is put there for search engine optimisation?

It is not just the fb share Donna. It also comes up "print" if you post to fb manually. I am not overly fond of the change either.

Although I am happy if someone buys a print from me, all of my artwork are originals and I do not like the implication that they are not.

Only way I can see you being able to change that is if you take your URL for your image page, and post it manually to FB.

Once you've pasted in the URL, it will popup all the text from FAA, and you can click on it and edit it, to remove the 'print' bit.

(When you click the FB share on FAA, it doesnt allow you to edit it, only when you do it manually)

I find this change to be outrageous. It is making me seriously consider closing my account.

Donna, I agree with your statement regarding our work being "originals" and the word print implying elsewise.


edit: I just did a little experimenting. Image says photograph (as usual) if shared from aw.

Tech support said it is there because I am selling prints. I have asked tech support if I remove the ability to sell prints if this will remove the print stuck in the title. I have so few sales here anyway, it would not make a difference to me. As it is, fine art gets lost in the print promotion, so fine art America is an oxymoron.

Thank you FAA tech depth for restoring the share button to list the title without the print. There are still adequate references to let a collector know prints are available while not making original artwork seem to be reproductions.
