Thoughts On Doomsday!?

Oh yeah, doomsday will be lots of fun.

It's a sure thing that it will eventually come. But whether it will be within our lifetime is anyone's guess. My most likely scenarios are an asteroid hit or gamma ray burst from a dying star. However, having survived bypass surgery, I can firmly state that anything that takes you out qualifies as doomsday, at least as far as you're concerned.

Don't worry, Monday is almost over. :)

If not now, yet it will come.

I'm 72 so my doomsday is any day.
World War 3 might do it...
Some kind of Ebola virus might do it.

Overpopulation in the next 50 to 100 years should make "soylent green" the main meal.
Yep, lots of possibilities for the end times.

Being alive is a terminal disease. I am now in my sixth decade and have had several friends and acquaintances already have their doomsday.

Now, if we're talking a cataclysmic end of all life then, yes, I believe that will happen one day. However I doubt that anyone alive today will be around to see it.

we can't talk religion, which is what this is. and our doomsday expert seems to be preparing right now. but, there is no such thing as the end of times. or certainly not covering the whole planet.

Too be honest, talks of a Doomsday never freaked me out because the reality is that we're all going to have to die one day. So each of us will have our own individual, personal Doomsday.

The next financial/stock market crash shouldn't be too far off so we'll get a little teaser when that hits.

Well, to paraphrase a Good Book, no one knows the hour or the day, so why worry about tomorrow? Today has enough troubles of its own.

With all the on going armed conflicts in the world and new ones popping up every day, I think it's a very real possibility than man could end up creating some thing that resembles a doomsday, but not to worry there is a way to escape it.

Really Mike? this is a religious discussion, what religion is Doomsday? I never in my 54 years of life heard that one, I guess I learn some thing new every day here.
