I just received a contact from an art promoter/printer in London, UK - Welldone Publishers who has just launched their website. Does anyone have any experiences with art promoters? How did your contract process go?
I Googled them and they appear to be another print-on-demand company soliciting for your business. I tried to bring up their webpage, but the page would not load.
If they asking for money I would carefully look 2 or 3 times and do all the research and homework you can do online and ask in groups. Here is a link to a blog post where I share my experience with one promoter who promised to sell my work but in the end just ended in nada. It triggered a bunch of tips and a Popular Blog Post. Not saying all are bad but there are a lot that are in for the quick buck and one has to be careful.
i tried looking for them, they only seem to have twitter accounts and such. i'd be weary just for that alone. if they don't come up in a search, it's probably not worth joining up with them, especially since they are promoting...
