Dram Settlement

I will just quote from the website first: "There are class action and Attorneys General Settlements involving DRAM, a memory part that is sold by itself or as part of electronic devices such as computers, printers, and video game consoles.
Purchases made directly from a DRAM manufacturer are not included.

The lawsuits claim that the Defendants fixed the price of DRAM causing individuals and businesses to pay more for DRAM and DRAM-containing devices. The Defendants deny that they did anything wrong."
You would qualify if: "You qualify for money if you bought DRAM or products containing DRAM (computers, printers, video game consoles or other electronic devices) between 1998 and 2002. No documentation is required to file a claim.

The minimum recovery is $10, while larger purchasers could receive a $1,000 or more." source: http://dramclaims.com/

I know that during that time frame, we have purchased 3 computers, at least 4 printers (I went through them like cheap flashlights) and at least 2 video game consoles.
I opened the claim form, did everything and no less than 4 times, got an "error" and it would not complete loading.

Here is the claim form: https://secureweb2.rustconsulting.com/dramclaims/mainpage/FILEACLAIM.aspx

You have until August 1 to submit your claim. Let me know if you succeed.

Yes, had to change my settings and it took 6 attempts, but I finally got it through.

Now I wonder if it's $10 a piece or how they figure it per claim.

It's a settlement in an anti-trust case. A company has a right to charge what they want yes. They do not have the right to work together to fix prices. Been that way for a century now.
