Are the lyrics to "Working On the Railroad" copyrighted?
On the railroad photography website http://www.railpictures.net, we would point out that this shot is very tightly cropped without much "lead room" between the pilot of the locomotive and the edge of the frame. The shot seems to be leaning slightly CCW. The fence in the foreground is not pleasing to the eye and most people expect to see the train trailing off in the distance.
The little steam engine here gets around. I shot it in Winnsboro, SC a few years ago. It's one of two little guys that travel around to different parts of the US to pull short passenger excursions. The interesting thing is that it travels by truck to get to it's destination!
This won't print. When I saw the thumbnail, my first thought was it was leaning CW.When I clicked for the larger view, I realized the horizon (if unlevel) was not that important after all. One should only post their best work. As a fellow photographer, sometimes I post my *favorite* work when a critical eye would tell me to save it for my personal collection. I don't always see the difference between "best" and "favorite" when seeing my own shots.
The fireworks shots do not appear to be in focus.
