What Makes This Image Skyrocket?

Sell Art Online
Just curious, how is this image getting 83,000 views from bots? I don't know much about the whole bot world, but with only a few tweets and fbs,
what makes the bots come back to this image hundreds of times a day?

Someone may have used 'Stumble Upon' that will get a ton of views.

Oh just realized it was not one of yours. Time, the time it has been on the site,

where it is from and the artist can get that many views too. Plus all the times

it was marketed by the artist or other artists or friends can be a factor sometimes..

if an image has the ability to make it to the top, sometimes it's viewed and viewed, like putting it in this thread for example. other times people will generate fake views. there was a guy who had like 300,000 hits per image, averaging like 2 million a day, all because of a bot he used. he's been shut down, bot wise. you can also ask him.

I notice there are no comments for congratulations on your sale, giving the impression that even with all that many views it has not sold yet here even with all that traffic.

This is probably name and shame but a number of his images have been on faa's most visits page (per hour) for a very long time (this whole year?). He's likely using some sort of site who's sole purpose is to boost visits with "automated" visits. Just in my 2cent opinion. -W

Just want to clarify I have nothing against this image or the artist, I am quite pleased with his success! I posted this thread
to learn a bit more about bots and what would make an image get this many views.

It's all a house of cards.
