I have an account at Polyvore. Got it a year ago, but just recently started playing with it, putting outfits together. I have also been wondering about using it to market my photography. I just got my FAA account, and am happy to see that I can't "clip" my photos to Polyvore (so, presumably random image thieves can't either!) but I wonder how I can go about clipping small/low-res images from FAA to Polyvore, to encourage Polyvore users to come to FAA or pixels.com to buy my photos. Briefly skimming Paul's link, I'm not seeing how to do this, but I might have missed it (and have to get back to work at my office, now!)
Oh, also--Polyvore is also used quite a bit to put decor sets together, not just clothes. I have seen links to art for sale on polyvore, but nothing from FAA
