Thanks Paul, at least I know there are a few others that also do not have the twitter button. I thought it was only me to start with.
Apparently they are doing tests and changes to the site, but I was not impressed when they sent me this email. This was their first email below.
(I will probably send them another email soon also stating that Twitter is probably also a good promotional tool for Pinterest with many users tweeting their images with a Pinterest link attached).

Most issues are often fixed by clearing your browser's cache and cookies. We also recommend that you try logging in on different browsers to see if you have the same problem.
We’re a small team, but we’re hard at work to fix as many bugs as we can to make the Pinterest experience the best it can be. Unfortunately, this means smaller bugs that aren’t affecting the majority of Pinners may not get fixed right away.

The option to post to Twitter was something we were testing out and now we're changing a few things to make it better if we decide to roll it out to everyone in the near future.
Hopefully you'll see the feature again soon! I passed your feedback along to our engineering team so they know it's a feature pinners are interested in seeing again.
I wish there was a better solution I could offer for the moment, but please know that your feedback is being heard and we're working to make Pinterest better for you!
