Private Licensing Question

I have been approached about an image for website usage and I have a very basic question.. I have read the threads on licensing and have a good idea what I would need to put in an agreement, and also have checked the link to alamy.com to get an idea of prices I could not find exactly how most people handle the transaction details. I do not have a smugmug or anything like that to handle the details, and have not signed up for the trial on FAA. So if I e mail an agreement I have no way for the customer to check electronically that they agree to the terms. Do you fax or mail a hard copy of the licensing agreement or what?

Why can't they e-mail you back and say if they agree or not?

Thanks for the responses. That is what I was wondering.if it is considered "legal" if the customer just e mails a response that they agree to the terms?

Yes it is. Or you could ask them to photocopy a hand signed contract

I have been using a series of email exchanges to negotiate and close licensing deals for 15 years. I'll search around for you to check again that it is a legal contract. I usually put the terms in an invoice and attach that as the last thing i do.

OK Abbie beat me to it.

Image Licensing...Is there a way to do bulk editing of prices?

And are there recommended prices?
