Twitter Synch From Artist Website

How come when you use the Twitter synch from our AW sites the link back on Twitter goes to the image page on FAA and not to our AW page link? Isn't the reason we Twitter from our AW pages to drive traffic to our AW site and not FAA???

It puts the URL to my AW site but when you click the URL or the image it takes you to the FAA page for that image not my AW.

Here is my Twitter page if you want to see how it works. https://twitter.com/johnrizzuto

John - I've not used the sync from AW, but I have used the "Share on Twitter" button on my browser from AW and that works fine.

Thanks Frank. I like the synch because it shows the image and not just the URL. Might entice more people to click on it an view the image than just having a URL. But that really sucks and is a little deceptive that the URL says our artist website but goes to FAA.

Sad to say it has been that way as long as I have used it. A few months or so.

Would be nice to go to my AW...but I do put up with it for the canvas preview..

Yep - has been that way for a long time. I also liked to share a certain search terms like Boston and then tweet out the entire search result from my AW site but instead I am sharing the entire collection from FAA - pretty frustrating! Asked once tech support about it but was told it has nothing to do with FAA - don't get it though because when I copy and paste the link of search results into a tweet it also links back to the entire FAA collection of artists. Would love to see this fixed or guidance how to fix it myself - sharing anything from AW site should link back to that and not FAA.

I see why now. It is is because they are not putting our actual AW url in it. Just artistwebsites.com not john-rizzuto.artistwebsites.com

I used to do all my tweets from my AW site, until I found out that it links back here to FAA. Maybe with the new changes coming in April, that'll change, and out tweets will link to AW and not FAA. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a stand-alone site if we're still directing everyone here to the competitive multitudes. Not all of us have a personal site to redirect from.
