Should I Resubmit These Images?

I noticed some images have smaller previews and on those smaller previews the zoom isnt working either. Its as if the image has not fully processed.

Example where things go wrong:

Sell Art Online

Example where it all went OK:

Photography Prints

Should I submit the images that dont load properly again?

Thanks

if you think you should, then do it. never hurts... well it can hurt, but give it a shot.

The images have uploaded behind the scenes so it is entirely up to you if you wish to reload it for the preview

Thanks, but why is working on one and not the other? I cant control that? Seems like a bug, no?

Will they process over night and show correctly?

No, the previews normally work and if you refresh when they do not, they then show. The new preview is made after the upload. If it really doesn't work, even after a refresh of the page, then a reload is needed.

It is not a bug as such because 99% of the time it is working and I cannot tell you why 1% it doesn't as I have no idea at all

Thats typical for a bug :0) when it doesnt work as should

I will resubmit tomorrow, thanks for confirming.

I usually find that if the full-size preview doesn't appear after a couple of minutes (and it can take that long on larger images), then simply editing and saving (without making any changes) is enough to get it to generate it correctly (again, after up to a couple of minutes). I've not had to re-upload a photo yet to get the full-size preview to work, although that's not to say you'll never need to.

It is definitely a bug though -- it does feel like FAA needs to hire or contract someone (or more people) with a system testing background to improve the resilience of the site and knock a few of the more frequently-occurring issues on the head. There's little to nothing that doesn't ever work on here, but there's an annoying amount that *occasionally* doesn't work.

The problem resolved itself over night. I guess it needed some more processing time.
